“ My experience with Northridge Toyota was extremely disappointing. I brought my vehicle Toyota RAV 4 2025 still under warranty because of a specific issue with the set belt and left it with them for approximately 24–48 hours for inspection. After their evaluation, I was told the problem was caused by a bad battery and that I needed to be replaced. I clearly explained that the battery was new and unlikely to be the issue, but they insisted their diagnosis was correct. I was then charged even dough the car was still under warranty. Because I was not convinced, I took my vehicle to Toyota of Simi Valley for a second opinion. Their technicians quickly identified the actual problem: a faulty seatbelt component. They replaced it, resolved the issue, and confirmed there was absolutely nothing wrong with my battery. This means Northridge Toyota misdiagnosed the issue and charged me significant money without fixing anything. I left with the exact same unresolved problem, wasted valuable time, and spent money unnecessarily. I expect honesty, competence, and accurate diagnostics from a dealership service department. Unfortunately, Northridge Toyota failed in all three. At a minimum, I believe Northridge Toyota should have the decency to refund the money I paid for an incorrect diagnosis and unproductive service. Very disappointing experience. I will not return, and I strongly recommend others seek a second opinion before approving repairs here. ”
